Kenia Rosete – Instructor

Kenia began dancing at age 11 studying ballet, jazz, hip-hop and drama. In her mid-teens she began traveling the United States, performing and competing with “The Main Attraction” and “Dreamgirls” ensembles. At 17, Kenia was introduced to the art of salsa and quickly began choreographing and performing throughout Los Angeles and Southern California representing her university in various shows and competitions. After taking a year long hiatus where she lived in Japan and travelled around Asia, Kenia moved to New York City and began her intense Argentine Tango studies with Carlos Cañedo, joining The Tango Company in August of 2013. Since then, she has continued her studies with influential tango instructors such as Graciela Gonzalez, Mariana Parma, Carlos Cañedo, and Mariana Galassi. Kenia has taught at La Milonga Rosa in New York City and also collaborated with award-winning artist Chris Vasquez in the show called “The Son of Tango, tribute to Carlos Gardel”, dancing with Jose Fluk.
